General Description:
Established by the United States Congress on July 6th, 1960 and is awarded to members of the United States Air Force branch who have showcased exceptional meritorious service in or out of combat.
The ribbon features a broad white stripe at center with thinner yellow stripes at the edges. Inside of the out yellow bands are thicker blue stripes and, inside of these stripes, are thinner yellow stripes.
Accoutrements include an Oak Leaf Cluster and Combat "C" Device.
