General Description:
Authorized to services members having taken part in the liberation of the Philippine islands from Japanese conquest during World War II from the period spanning October 17th, 1944 until September 3rd, 1945. Ribbon is of primarily dark blue color with yellow edges and a red-white-red striping pattern at center.


Award Criteria (as Officially Detailed by the United States Armed Services):
"It is awarded to personnel who are recipients of both the Philippine Defense and Philippine Liberation ribbons."
