General Description:
The ribbon is of red, white, and blue coloring. At either side of center are a thick blue and red stripe. After this, the ribbon has thin white stripes before completing in blue / off-blue at the edges.

Those awarded this medal / ribbon can wear the first medal / ribbon for which they qualify. They are worn at the same position as the United Nations Medal. Subsequent awards in a different mission are denoted by a Bronze Service Star. Not more than one U.N. ribbon may be worn at one time.
